Strengthen the bottom end of high powered Ford 6 cylinder barra engines by installing a main cap girdle.
Laser cut from billet steel and CNC machined, our main cap girdles are designed to tie all main caps together to increase the over all structural integrity of the block and main bearing caps.
Main cap girdles prevent cap walk the on the block. Once this occurs, the main bearing caps no longer provideing accurate bearing alignment for the crankshaft which in turn leads to premature crankshaft or main bearing failure.
